We were receiving high water bills for the last two months. So, it was apparent that there was a water leak, but we just couldn't figure out where. So, I gave Rapid Response a call, and that turned out to be the best thing that we could have ever done. It turned out that we have a water main leak as a result of a previous plumbing company using faulty equipment (shark bites) to fix a leaky water main some years back. Also, the expansion tank attached to the water heater had failed. Stevie was the plumber that came out yesterday to save the day! He was an absolute 'Rockstar' from start to finish! What a life saver! We thought we had a simple clog in our sinks, but it was actually a major issue that could have gone very bad. We had plumbers out before who would just snake our drain and charge us $300. The difference this time was our plumber, Stevie, got to the root of the problem. He may look young and because of this you could easily judge and think he may not be as experienced, but looks can be deceiving. I’m sure he can make technicians older than him and more experienced look like amateurs because of how thorough he is and how knowledgeable he is. Stevie came out to replace our front and back hose bibbs and threw in pressurizing and a shut-off valve to each bibb for the same price another company quoted just to replace the bibbs. While checking our water pressure, he found it was about 30 psi too high for our home and offered to replace the PRV and retrofit our main water line from PVC to copper at a discounted rate since he was already here. He thoroughly explained each recommendation and had all of the work completed in a few hours. We will definitely give him a call for any future plumbing needs!
