There are those moments in life and home ownership that you dread. When the hot water heater suddenly gives out… that’s one of those moments of silence.
When I tell you that this was the worst possible time for this curve ball in my life, I am truly telling you that’s an understatement. I know that there’s never a great time for that news, but I know there certainly is a worst time. And this—this was the worst time.
So the ancient (OMG 2003) hot water heater finally gave out. I was pretty scared and overwhelmed. I had to bathe my kids in the sink that night, freaked out about the cost, the repair—the endless questions.
So, I called the first highly reviewed company I could find on Google. I feel beyond thankful that I found these guys! Literally this was the biggest blessing that I could have asked for.
Kyle arrived within about an hour or two. He was so pleasant, helpful, kind, and compassionate. He understood our dilemma, and Kyle truly helped us navigate to a solution that made this replacement possible. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful young man he is—he’s really an exceptional and experienced plumber that has a way of really making the entire experience pleasant and reassuring.
I have been in the process of upgrading and fixing up my house for a while, and I have encountered my share of plumbing companies, and Rapid Response is truly the BEST company I have ever come across.
The prices are reasonable, fair, and competitive. The service is prompt and professional. The range of services and timeliness of completing projects cannot be beat.
The hot water heater died late that afternoon, and a new one was installed and working beautifully by lunchtime the next day! And it was very reasonably priced.
I only really do reviews for companies that have gone above and beyond from the first phone call to the last goodbye. And this is a truly delightful company to work with.

Initially, they were quick to respond, provided a clear and competitive quote, and took the time to walk me through water heater options without any pressure. I really appreciated the transparency around what was included and their willingness to refine the quote with additional details.
Update after installation:
Bailey completed the install, and the final result exceeded expectations. This wasn’t just a basic replacement—they installed a new Bradford White water heater, added a properly mounted expansion tank, and replaced the pressure regulating valve.
The workmanship is clean and professional, especially the copper piping and overall layout. Everything was installed correctly and is working perfectly.

Our 15-year-old water heater started leaking over a month and a half ago. Sears would not repair it because it was over 15 years old. It was a slow leak, but we knew eventually it would give way altogether. We just trusted in Almighty God that He would hold it back till we could afford to get it replaced. Today Rapid Response replaced it with a 50-gallon water heater. All was done in a few short hours. No more leaking water heater. Excellent experience with this company. The manager, Billy, called me back immediately after my initial inquiry for a water heater replacement. He quoted a fair and comparable price, and was able to schedule an install. The plumber, Marc, came out on install day and meticulously removed the old heater and had the new heater installed and running, which was not easy as he was working in a very confined space. He kept the work area clean. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, and for how accommodating they are.
